Disclaimer – Care Method and Tile Compatibility

Our suggested care method has been tested and used successfully across a variety of mahjong tile sets and is intended as general guidance for safe, effective care. We are confident in its suitability, as well as in the products included in our Mahjong Tile Care Kit, when used on modern tiles made from hard non-porous materials such as acrylic or melamine. However, we recommend testing any cleaning method on a spare tile prior to full application. Please note that our method is not recommended for tiles made from bone or bamboo due to their porous nature, which may require alternative care. Additionally, our processes have not been tested on tiles made from bakelite or catalin; while they may be safe for such materials, we believe it is important to clearly acknowledge the absence of testing.
